I got to capture Lilli & Tyler’s Courthouse Elopement in Denver, Colorado at the beautiful Byron White Courthouse.
Not all elopements have to be in an “epic” location across the country in the wilderness. Lilli & Tyler opted for a classy courthouse elopement for some major classy city vibes and I. am. obsessed. They originally were coming out to go to a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater and when Lilli stumbled across the courthouse she knew this had to be the place they elope!
Lilli & Tyler have never been in front of a camera before and I could tell they were a little nervous but lucky for them that is my favorite kind of client! I give prompts and poses and will guide you through the entire session making you feel confident and comfortable. And typically when someone is not used to being in front of the camera they don’t really know what to expect or anticipate which leaves a lot of room for natural and playful emotion – THAT’S what I love.
Since Byron White Courthouse is smack dab right in the middle of Downtown Denver we can also set aside some time to walk around to explore the city! This also gives more to the memory of eloping in the city by truly experiencing the city! Imagine crossing the street in a big floofy dress and veil and a big bouquet hanging out of your dress…. ahhhh BEAUTIFUL. I love adding diversity to a gallery.
P.S. I can not promise that I won’t yell “SO CUTE” at least 47 times within the first hour LOL.
