If anything is worth celebrating, it is love.

This is why I began photographing weddings: to capture what love feels like. Somewhere between your wedding ceremony and reception, between greeting guests and getting down on the dance floor, your story is unfolding. And I want to be there, to document every smile, every happy tear, and every stolen glance.

Because I believe love is a miracle. I mean, how incredible is it that you found your person in this sea of people? The person who gets you, makes you laugh, and keeps you sane in this crazy world. The person who your heart adores and your soul feels safe with.

I should know. My husband and I have been married for six years. Now, four kids and multiple cross-country moves later, we’re settled in the Colorado mountains, watching miracles unfold around us.

Are we best friends already?

My greatest asset as your photographer is how deeply I feel. I will absolutely cry during your ceremony and laugh during speeches. I will squeal during your first kiss, cheer during your grand entrance, and generally obsess over your wedding day. I will feel every emotion fully, ensuring that I capture those same emotions in your photos. When you look back on your gallery, you will be able to relive every single moment, as if it’s happening all over again.

When it comes to your wedding, I will be the first one there and the last one to leave, ready to fix your hair, wipe your tears, and hold your shoes when you want to run barefoot in the grass. (It’s a common side effect of being hopelessly in love; nothing to be concerned about.)

My faith in Jesus is the backbone of everything I do. As a Christian wedding photographer, I look at my couples the way Christ does: as His children whom He loves with a deep, abiding love. I am deeply honored to capture the love and commitment of every marriage ceremony, as marriage is a reflection of how Christ treats us as His bride.
