Your Elopement Timeline, lets talk about it. One of my favorite things about elopements is how flexible they are. You don’t have to follow traditions or stick to a strict schedule. You can build a day that feels completely your own. When I help couples plan their timeline, I always remind them, this is more than just a ceremony, it’s an experience! Whether you want to start before the sun goes up or say your vows as the stars come out at night, there are so many beautiful ways to shape your day!!

If you’re a sunrise person…
There’s something SO special about starting your marriage with the first light of the day. Imagine waking up early, grabbing a coffee, and heading out while the world is still so quiet. You could hike to your ceremony spot with lanterns, then say your vows as the sun rises. Afterward, you could celebrate with a picnic breakfast, take some stunning portraits, and spend the rest of the day exploring or just relaxing. Sunrise elopements tend to feel peaceful and intimate, like the whole day belongs just to you.

If you want a slower start…
Not everyone wants to wake up before dawn on their wedding day, and that’s totally okay! A midday elopement gives you time to sleep in, share a slow breakfast, and really soak in the morning. You might do a first look, then head off for your ceremony somewhere scenic, especially in CO. Afterward, think about adding in an activity you love, maybe a picnic, kayaking, off-roading, or simply wandering around and exploring together!! The beauty of this kind of timeline is that you can stretch out your celebration while keeping it laid back.

If you LOVE sunsets…
Golden hour is hands down the dreamiest light for photos, and it’s also the most romantic time of day. With a sunset elopement, you can take the morning nice and slow, wander through a little town, or just enjoy being present. Then, as the day winds down, you exchange vows during sunset, pop some champagne, maybe share a first dance, and watch the stars appear. Sunset timelines feel like the perfect mix of celebration and intimacy.✨

No matter when you decide to exchange vows, your timeline should feel like you. You get to choose if it’s adventurous or calm, structured or spontaneous. Think about the moments you want to remember. This is your chance to create a wedding day that tells your story, start to finish.

KIND WORDS

“I recommend Cheyenne in a heartbeat!! She is the sweetest person ever and made us feel at ease and relaxed in front of the camera. Cheyenne is on so top of it, had so many visions that we would have never even thought of, and most of all, she leads with the kindest heart and a sense of humor. Everyone at our wedding raved about how wonderful Cheyenne was! We nearly cried seeing our sneak peek photos, they were SO beautiful.”
