Tyler and Caitlyn’s wedding day in Colorado felt calm and intentional from the very beginning. Their wedding day was centered on what actually matters most on a wedding day, the people and the commitment being made.
Their ceremony took place in a church, which naturally set the tone for everything that followed. Guests settled in, and the front of the room became the focus. The day shifted into something more meaningful as the ceremony began. The vows felt personal and real, and you could tell both families were fully present for it.
We later stepped outside for bridals and then headed to Mt. Falcon West Trailhead in Littleton for more portraits! This gave us time to slow down and get photos without the pressure of everything else happening around them. The mountain views made the perfect backdrop, but what really mattered was how Tyler and Caitlyn were with each other. They stayed close, talked, laughed, and didn’t feel like they had to “do” anything for the camera. That’s usually when the best photos happen, when people just interact like they normally would instead of trying to perform a moment!
Something I always see on wedding days is how much difference time makes. When couples have enough space built into their timeline, portraits feel easy and not like something being squeezed in. It gives them a chance to actually be in the moment instead of moving straight from one part of the day to the next.
Tyler and Caitlyn’s wedding was a good example of that. Nothing overcomplicated, just a day that made room for what it was actually about! Keep on scrolling to see a glimpse into their wedding day!
